Ever liked a color palette so much you wanted to use it everywhere?

After recently refining my personal site’s (this site) design system I liked it so much I wanted to look at it while I code, so I whipped up a syntax highlighting, terminal, and IDE theme based on it.

Presenting, Hearth, a warm color theme that keeps the interface calm and lights the code with a single ember.

Cheesy tagline aside, I’m genuinely pleased with the theme as well as the landing page! Hearth comes in 3 variants: Hearth, Azure, and Teal with all three in light and dark mode.

The default, Hearth, is the most minimal where the Azure and Teal options add a splash of complimentary color for additional contrast in your code. I’m pleased that it seems a lot of folks seem to like it too!

At the time of writing, Hearth supports VS Code, Cursor, Zed, Warp, and Shiki. Your preferred tool not supported? Shoot me a message and I’ll see what I can do.
